AMUAA-GC Supports Girls Education in India

Educating Girls means Educating Generations

The AMU Alumni Association of Greater Chicago (AMUAA-GC) is deeply committed to advancing educational opportunities for girls, recognizing the profound and lasting impact it has on communities. We encourage your support in identifying and endorsing girls' education initiatives through our programs, particularly in regions of India where the need for girls' schools is urgent and resources are scarce.

To ensure effective collaboration and meaningful impact, we have established the following guidelines for securing support from AMUAA-GC:
  1. Any member of AMUAA-GC may submit a project proposal.
  2. The proposing member must demonstrate a genuine commitment to the project and remain actively engaged throughout its duration.
  3. Project sponsors are required to contribute 10% of the total project cost.
  4. Regular progress reports are expected from the project sponsor, with a final comprehensive report upon project completion.
  5. These projects are purposefully designed for specific, achievable goals and do not entail long-term commitments.
