He currently brings his expertise to a renowned pharmaceutical company, where he continues to build on a career grounded in precision, diligence, and cross-industry experience.

Shah Faisal's commitment to the AMU alumni community runs deep. He previously served as Secretary of the Houston Aligarh Alumni Association and as Treasurer of the Federation of Aligarh Alumni Associations (FAAA), gaining valuable experience in organizational leadership and alumni engagement well before joining AMUAAGC. As Secretary, he is committed to ensuring timely communication, accurate records, effective coordination, and greater member participation.

Outside of his professional and community commitments, Shah Faisal enjoys traveling and exploring new places, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.

Mr. Ans Ahmed is a seasoned Senior Accountant residing in Lake Zurich, Illinois, United States. With a wealth of experience, he specializes in Fixed Asset Accounting, meticulously managing and maintaining fixed assets in corporate books. Ans excels in reconciling Construction in Progress (CIP) fixed asset accounts, as well as tracking capital expenses. Moreover, he is adept at preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of all balance sheet accounts pertaining to Intangible Assets on a monthly basis.

Having earned his bachelor's degree from Osmania University, Ans brings a solid educational foundation to his professional endeavors. Transitioning to academia, Dr. Khan contributed his expertise as a Faculty member at Northwest Suburban College in Rolling Meadows, IL. Currently, he plays a pivotal role in the Diagnostic Division of Abbott, managing its Global Operations.

Dr. Israrul Haque Ansari, commonly known as Israr Ansari, holds a distinguished position as a Senior Clinical Trials Scientist at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. He earned his Master’s degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of London. Over the past 33 years, Dr. Jamil has contributed to the advancement of global healthcare through roles spanning quality systems, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strategic leadership. He now provides consulting services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, guiding them in quality management, regulatory readiness, and organizational development.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Jamil has devoted over 35 years to community service, reflecting a lifelong commitment to education, leadership, and social impact. He has served in multiple Islamic organizations in diverse capacities.

At the Islamic Society of Central Jersey, he contributed as a Sunday School member and served as editor of the Center’s annual magazine. Within the AMUAA-GC, Dr. Jamil served as Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors, and later continued his service at the Federation of Aligarh Alumni Associations (FAAA), where he served as Secretary.

At Islamic Foundation North (IFN), Dr. Jamil’s service spans more than two decades. He taught in the Sunday School, later serving as Vice Principal and Principal for a combined 16 years. He also served 10 years on the IFN Board, holding positions including Member, Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Education Committee and is an active member of both the Zakat Committee and the Membership Committee.
