Dr. Haris Jamil is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with more than three decades of leadership experience across large, midsize, and emerging pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. He earned his Master’s degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of London. Over the past 33 years, Dr. Jamil has contributed to the advancement of global healthcare through roles spanning quality systems, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strategic leadership. He now provides consulting services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, guiding them in quality management, regulatory readiness, and organizational development.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Jamil has devoted over 35 years to community service, reflecting a lifelong commitment to education, leadership, and social impact. He has served in multiple Islamic organizations in diverse capacities.
At the Islamic Society of Central Jersey, he contributed as a Sunday School member and served as editor of the Center’s annual magazine. Within the AMUAA-GC, Dr. Jamil served as Secretary and as a member of the Board of Directors, and later continued his service at the Federation of Aligarh Alumni Associations (FAAA), where he served as Secretary.
At Islamic Foundation North (IFN), Dr. Jamil’s service spans more than two decades. He taught in the Sunday School, later serving as Vice Principal and Principal for a combined 16 years. He also served 10 years on the IFN Board, holding positions including Member, Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Education Committee and is an active member of both the Zakat Committee and the Membership Committee.
